«My first rhymes » is a compilation of rhymes or short poems written to help very young children (3 to 5 year olds) to acquire a number of basic social habits which they learn as they play and have fun. They are clearly grouped in two parts: Para una convivencia feliz (Living together), the aims of which are to incorporate in children’s lives habits and norms that make living together easier, based mainly on learning to be considerate towards girls and boys in the classroom, and Para aprender de forma divertida (Learning is fun), the aim of which is to help the very young to grasp the essential facts they need to know about the world around them.

Implicit values:
These rhymes implicitly contain all the values needed to achieve the goals clearly indicated in their titles: to live together in harmony and to have fun learning elementary concepts basic to their development.
