This hardback picture book contains two stories:

Floro, el globo aerostático (Floro the hot air balloon):

Floro takes his friends Gallo, Pato and Oveja ( Cockerel, Duck and Sheep) for a fascinating ride in his basket. Up in the air, they see just how different everything looks from the sky: rivers flow into the sea, mountains are white, volcanoes even let slip a little smoke...there is no way of steering Floro and where a hot air balloon lands is always a surprise. We will find out what makes Floro fly while having a marvellous adventure.

Germán, el pequeño submarino (Germán, the little submarine):

Germán loves to dive and swim under water in the sea. When he grows up he wants to be a photographer, so he takes his camera with him wherever he goes.
One day, he finds a mysterious map in a bottle. Is it a map that marks a hidden  treasure? Or a pirates’ map? What is it? Germán’s curiosity takes him on a hazardous adventure exploring the ocean while he shows us in simple terms how a submarine works.

These amusing charactersallow us to approach environmental issues and introduce to the very young notions of how to protect the world around them. There are also ideas based on affectionate relationships, consideration for the environment and tolerance of differences in others.
